history of association
- 1872 - Association of industrialists into profession unions began together with the changeover from craft to industrial work. Czech industrialists became co-founders of the Association of Paper Producers in Austria-Hungary (Austropapier) which arose in 1872.
- 1918 - A trade association called Economic Association of Paper Industry was founded in October 1918 after Czechoslovakia had gained its independence.
- 1945 - After its interruption caused by the occupation the activity of paper association revived under the name Economic Group of Paper Industry.
- 1949 - The association perished.
- 1991 - The Association of Pulp and Paper Industry was founded on 15th October 1990 and official registration was on September 4, 1991.
- 2008 - 39th general assembly of SPPaC decided to rename to Association of the Czech Pulp and Paper Industry (ACPP) after seventeen years. ACPP also introduced new logo at the same time.
- 2010 - Association and journal P+C moved to Štětí.
- 2015 - ACPP in Prague 7
- 2024 - ACPP Secretariat moved together with ALDP to Dělnická 213/12, Prague 7, Holešovice
